“Greenmeeting
- Americasworld”,
The city of Brasilia, will host, on the next September
09th, 10th, and 11th, the VIII Green Meeting of Americas, “Conference
of the Americas for the Environment and Sustainable Devolopment,
important and popular forum in favor of socio-environmental development
of the hemisphere and the planet. The event will bring together
the main national and international leaderships on the environment
and sustainable development, both governmental and non-governmental. |

The
Green Prize of the Americas 2008,
which will be awarded at the solemn opening of this meeting,
will be the result of observations and research at the international
level, to honor personalities and institutions that have, over the
years, contributed to the development and environmental preservation
of the planet. |
